Apparently, there's a saying in Norwegian that loosely translates as, "Don't just sit there with your hands in your lap - knit something!" Learn how to make these simple felted slippers, based on a classic Norwegian pattern. They look great in self-striping yarn like Noro Kureyon, or two or more colors of a worsted weight wool. The slippers are knit entirely in garter stitch, so the knitting is simple, but the assembly can be a bit tricky the first time around. I guarantee youíll make more than one pair of these adorable slippers.

Materials: pattern provided by instructor, up to 400 yards of worsted weight wool (not superwash or white), US size 10.5 needles, darning needle.
Cost: $30 + materials
